Abstract: A central cloud server includes a connectivity enhanced database that specifies a plurality of time-of-day specific uplink and downlink beam alignment-wireless connectivity relationships for a surrounding area of each of a plurality of edge devices. The central cloud server obtains sensing information from the plurality of edge devices, where the sensing information includes position information of the plurality of edge devices and weather information in the surrounding area of each of the plurality of edge devices. The central cloud server utilizes the weather information to determine changes in a performance state of each of the plurality of edge devices in servicing one or more user equipment in the surrounding area in different weather conditions. The central cloud server furthers causes one or more edge devices to select a beam configuration or a radiation pattern in accordance with the weather information for high performance communication.
