Communication system and method of wireless communication in hierarchical communication network

Abstract

A communication system that includes a plurality of network nodes interconnected in a hierarchical communication network. Each network node of the plurality of network nodes is associated with a level of hierarchy of distinct levels of hierarchy in the hierarchical communication network. The plurality of network nodes includes a global master node that performs a continuous collection and analysis of network-wide telemetry information across the distinct levels of hierarchy to implement a dynamic reassignment of hierarchical roles of specific network nodes of the plurality of network nodes. The dynamic reassignment is based on at least one of: changing positions of the specific network nodes, connectivity quality of the specific network nodes, or operational characteristics of the specific network nodes.
